Why use Go Fundraise or Everyday Hero?
Both of these fundraising sites make it easy to raise funds by allowing you to set up your own webpage for free. They take care of all the paper work and automatically issue tax receipts to everyone who makes a donation. This means you can spend your time focusing on your event versus administration.
Online fundraising helps Arthritis Australia to significantly reduce our administration costs. This means the funds raised by you and your supporters go directly to helping us improve the quality of life for people with arthritis.

Invest in arthritis research
The total cost of arthritis to the Australian economy was estimated to be $23.9 billion by Access Economics in 2007. The average cost of arthritis per person per year is $6200; 61% of arthritis costs are borne by the individuals themselves.
Arthritis is not yet curable but with early and proper diagnosis as well as a customised management plan, it can be controlled.
Treatment for rheumatoid arthritis has improved markedly as understanding of the disease process improves. With early aggressive therapy using the new designer agents, remission can be achieved in over 50% of patients.
